Auch in diesem Jahr präsentieren die Absolvent*inen aller drei Jahrgänge der CDSH wieder ihr Abschlussprojekt unter der Leitung von Javier Báez im Hamburger Sprechwerk.
Das Motto hat nur vier Buchstaben, die es jedoch in sich haben: LUST- das ist Wollust, Lustgefühl, Lüstling, Kauflust, Lustspiel, Lustgarten, Lustschloss und noch viel mehr. Mit anderen Worten: Es geht um Sex und Gefühle, Konsum und Begierde, Voyeurismus und Verlangen, Leidenschaft und Sehnsucht, um Wünsche und Triebe.
Die Choreografen zeigen ihre Inspirationen zu diesem Thema. Wie haben sich die Tänzerinnen und Tänzer diesem komplexen und schillernden Begriff der LUST im Laufe des Ausbildungsjahres genähert? Wie werden sie ihn künstlerisch und tänzerisch umsetzen? Das wird die spannende Frage für Choreograf*innen und Publikum sein.
Für Raul Valdez, den künstlerischen Leiter der CDSH, ist die Vokabel Lust die Antriebsfeder unserer Evolution, setzt uns aber auch immer wieder der Gefahr aus, in unbekannte Dimensionen vorzustoßen, in Situationen zu geraten, die wir nicht mehr kontrollieren können. Kontrollver-LUST. Es gibt eine helle Seite der Lust, und es gibt eine dunkle Seite der Lust. Die helle Seite bedeutet Weiterentwicklung und Erkenntnisgewinn. Die dunkle steht für Schuld und Scham.
Die Aufführungen finden an zwei Wochenenden statt.
Programm A: Am Freitag, den 15. Juni und Samstag, den 16. jeweils um 20 Uhr sowie am Sonntag, den 17. Juni um 18 Uhr, zeigen zunächst die Auszubildenden des ersten und zweiten Ausbildungsjahres an drei Abenden ihre Interpretationen zum Thema LUST.
Programm B: Eine Woche später Donnerstag (21. 6.), Freitag (22. 6.), Samstag (23. 6.) jeweils um 20 Uhr und Sonntag (24. 6.) um 16 Uhr folgt die Abschlussklasse.
As in previous years, the graduates of the CDSH will present their final project under the artistic direction of Javier Báez in the Hamburger Sprechwerk.
The motto is made up of only four letters, but they have a lot of potential: LUST. Hardly any term is so charged with strong emotions and associations, unsettles and excites curiosity. LUST can be lewdness, sensuality, lecher, desire to buy, comedy, summer residence and much more. In other words: it is about sex and feelings, consumption and desire, voyeurism and yearning, passion and longing, about wishes and instincts.
The choreographers present their inspirations on the subject of LUST. How did the dancers approach this complex and colourful term in the course of the year? How will they go about transforming it into an artistic and dance form? That is the exciting question that awaits choreographers and audience. For Raul Valdez, artistic director of CDSH, the word „LUST“ is complex, multi-dimensional and therefore an inexhaustible source of inspiration. „Lust is the motor of our ventures, the ones that we agree to and for which we expect a reward that we sometimes receive. Lust is always the mainspring of our evolution, but it also repeatedly puts us in danger of protruding into unknown dimensions, of getting into situations that we cannot control. Lust has various facets, light ones and also dark ones. The light side signifies personal development and insight. The dark side stands for guilt and shame.“
The performances will take place on two weekends respectively at 20:00.
Program A: From Friday, June 15 to Sunday, June 17, the first and second year students will perform their interpretations on the subject of LUST.
Program B: The graduate class will follow them one week later on Thursday, June 21, Friday, June 22, and Saturday, June 23 respectively at 20:00, and Sunday, June 24 at 16:00.
